Warren says the company has used "extensive lobbying and adroit influence pedaling" to keep Americans from filing their taxes for free. 

Many of Warren's complaints center on the Free File Program, an organization of tax prep companies established in 2003 to provide free tax services to low-income filers.

Warren's letter also points to a March 31 report from OpenSecrets, an IRS partnership with the non-profit Coalition, which found 

That Intuit employed former government officials, including former members of Congress, in its lobbying efforts. Warren's letter was a "revolving door" in enforcement

Also notes the problem, with Intuit hiring former regulators to help deflect government action in a recent court filing 

Revealed that the company hired former FTC Chairman John Leibovitz to "defend itself from the FTC complaint", Public

A 2019 report from Citizen found that Leibovitz was one of dozens of former FTC officers who had such potential revolving door struggles.
