Hudgens on the champagne-colored carpet about how she felt as a first-time nominee. Yeoh expressed feeling at peace and stated

that everyone should enjoy themselves as they have reached the finish line. If Yeoh wins, she will become the first actress of Asian descent to receive the

award in the Academy's 95-year history. Among the guests at the event were Yeoh's mother Datin Janet Yeoh, Women, Family and Community Development

Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, as well as local celebrities. Janet expressed her excitement and nervousness to the media and wished

her daughter the best of luck at the event Yeoh's look was styled by Jordan Johnson Chung and included Moussaieff diamonds in her earrings and a bejeweled headband,

along with a Richard Mile watch to complete the ensemble This Academy Awards is especially momentous for Yeoh as it is her first nomination,

and Everything Everywhere All at Once has also earned several other nominations including Best Picture and Best Director for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.

Yeoh is nominated alongside Andrea Risborough from To Leslie, Michelle Williams from The Fogelman's, Cate Blanchett from Tar, and Ana de Arms from Blonde.
